Cascade AI Joins Microsoft for Startups Pegasus Program to Build Fast, Scale Smart, and Sell More

Cascade brings AI-powered IT and HR support further into the flow of work

SEATTLE, Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cascade AI, the enterprise-grade, AI-native operating platform for IT and HR shared services, today announced its selection for the Microsoft for Startups Pegasus Program, one of approximately 120 startups chosen globally from a pool of more than 10,000. The selection marks the next phase of Cascade’s growing relationship with Microsoft and creates new opportunities to jointly deliver value to enterprise customers.

It follows Cascade’s strongest quarter of growth to date and the launch of its AI-native IT Service Management (ITSM) platform, which extended employee support beyond HR into IT operations. The platform gives employees a single destination for HR and IT support, converts resolved tickets into governed knowledge articles, and integrates with existing IT tools.

Cascade also announced that the Cascade Agent is now available in Microsoft Teams, giving employees immediate access to IT and HR support within the environment they already use every day. Through Cascade’s integration with Microsoft Copilot, organizations can extend governed, context-aware support across the Microsoft ecosystem—helping employees get answers, complete requests and execute workflows without switching between systems.

“Being selected for Microsoft for Startups Pegasus is a meaningful validation of Cascade’s role as the enterprise-ready, AI-native platform for shared services automation,” said Ana-Maria Constantin, Founder and CEO of Cascade AI. “Enterprises are under pressure to modernize IT and HR support without adding complexity for employees or risk for the business. Cascade combines the security, scale and user experience large organizations expect with the speed and accessibility employees need. Our deeper relationship with Microsoft helps us bring that vision to more organizations faster.”

“We’re excited to welcome Cascade AI to the Microsoft for Startups Pegasus Program. This initiative gives select startups access to Microsoft Azure’s cutting-edge AI models, enterprise-grade security and privacy, and unique go-to-market support to accelerate growth. Through Pegasus, startups can build fast, scale smart, and sell more by tapping into the full power of Azure and the Microsoft ecosystem,” said Tom Davis, General Manager, Microsoft for Startups.

For joint customers such as Covetrus, the integration brings secure, intelligent support directly into the tools employees already use.

“Everything we do starts with our mission of helping veterinarians and practice teams provide the best possible care for animals,” said Amy Sanford, Global General Counsel and Chief HR Officer at Covetrus. “One of the simplest ways to support employees is to make information easier to access. Because Cascade works within Microsoft Teams, getting answers quickly is as familiar as sending a Teams chat message - with no new tools to learn while giving our HR team more time to support employees in ways that require experience, judgment, and personal connection. Supporting our employees isn’t separate from our mission. It’s one of the ways we ensure we can continue supporting the veterinary practices and professionals who care for animals.”
